The Office of Entrepreneurial Education (oe²)
The Office of Entrepreneurial Education (oe²) is the arm of the New York Small Business Development Center that promotes interest in entrepreneurship through a variety of educational programs. These educational programs include web-based curricula on basic entrepreneurial concepts in three versions - EntreSkills, EntreSkills for Veterans, and EntreSkills for Entrepreneurs. Oe² is supported by the Small Business Administration and administered by The State University of New York.

EntreSkills for Veterans is a comprehensive, interactive web-based educational tool developed by veterans for veterans. This program will help you apply what you learned while you were in uniform to business ownership. EntreSkills for Veterans can help you start a business or improve the performance of an existing business. This program is available to veterans at the place and time that is most convenient to them.
The self-paced instruction contained in EntreSkills for Veterans is designed to be combined with one-on-one business counseling with an experienced SBDC Veteran Business Advisor to help guarantee successful results. Each chapter contains discussion points that deepen and expand your knowledge and comprehension as you interact with your advisor.
Click here to see a demo of EntreSkills for Entrepreneurs™EntreSkills for Entrepreneurs™ is an interactive, web-based program. This program is based on the successful EntreSkills™ program developed by the NY SBDC's Office of Entrepreneurial Education. The self-paced program helps clients refine and develop a concept, address legal and marketing issues, prepare financial statements, and ultimately, manage and run a business. Each chapter includes business-related websites, entrepreneurial videos, as well as success stories that enable the client to study each subject area in depth. This tool is designed to allow the clients to work through the chapters and build a business plan while consulting with their NY SBDC advisor.
